Birthday cards for guys

Hi everyone,

I spent the last few days on the couch with a cold.  I know some of you are thinking, "whimp", but I have learned from experience that you heal a lot quicker if you allow your body time to focus on getting well. I realize not everyone has that luxury; believe me I am greatful I was able to. Turns out I needed the rest. Living off 2-4 hours of sleep each night, eventually catches up to you.  I'm happy to say I woke up totally refreshed this morning.

I haven't decided if I'm going to post the last video I recorded last week. I hope to have something fresh for you by tomorrow though. In the meantime, I thought I'd share the cards I made for my two sons birthdays. One is a musician/photographer/artist and the other one recently bought himself a black Honda.

The guitar is from the Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge. Shhh! what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Lol! Oval punch, modern label punch and sentiment are from Stampin' Up!.

The car is from the "Just Because" Cards cartridge and the cityscape is from Paper Doll Dress Up. The 1-3/8" circle punch, and Stampin Pastels were used for the sun. I also used 2 silver brads for the hub caps, from SU's Vintage brads and I spritzed the main body of the car. A Uni-ball Signo gel pen was used for dashes on the road.

4x4 Notecards Gift Set Tutorial

I pray your week is going well. I don't know about you, but it's going by way too fast for me, as always. Anyway, I am so glad to have another video for you. In addition to the cards, I made envelopes and a box for them to go in. I will be editing the video for that and hopefully posting it on Thursday or Friday.
