Top Note + Fan card
Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a blessed week. We received some unexpected news yesterday, that reminded me of the scripture that says, "...lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven..." (Matthew 6:20). When I think of what matters most to God, I believe the treasures are people. Is not God's main concern, relationship; 0ur relationship with Him and with others? If you haven't accepted that there is a God and you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then maybe none of what I'm saying means anything to you. But before you dismiss me and leave this site, please hear me out, because what I have to say applies to everyone.
Before I go further, if you are one of those I've just mentioned I do pray that you will find the truth of life. Not man's point of view. Don't even take my word for it. Seek it out and search for it for yourself. With that said, here is the point I want to make. TREASURE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS. We never know when someone will leave us.
Maybe you've been thinking about someone to send a card to, or to make something for, or to call; do it today. Tomorrow is not promised. Sorry, it wasn't my plan to come off preachy today. It's just that when someone passes away unexpectedly it reminds me of how fragile life is and how important it is to work on our relationships.
So, on to today's project. As always, I hope enjoy it. If you'd like to see a specific technique or product used, please leave a comment or email me. I want to hear from you. Like I've said many times, this is a learning process for me. Believe me I have a lot to learn, so I am open to constructive criticism, and of course, I cherish words of encouragement.

Stampin' Up! Color Coach Love it!!
Hi everyone,
I hope you've had a great week. As usual, it went by way too fast for me, but I think I can say it was a good week. It was almost ruined this morning though, when I couldn't find my Youtube subscribers. I really appreciate them (you) and having them (you) dissappear like that was a bit frustrating. I guess it was just a glitch, cause everything seems to be back to normal. Such a trivial thing though, in the grand scheme of life. I am truely blessed and should never complain. Anyway, that was my very minor challenge today. Boo-hoo, right.
You never know what you're going to find on the road, when on a journey. I've been trying to keep in mind that life (and crafting) is an adventure, so enjoy it - even when there is a bump in the road. It's all a learning process, and there is never anything wrong with learning.
Anyway, here's another post on my adventures in card making and blogging. I hope you like it.
BTW. This announcement is a few weeks late, but CONGRATULATIONS!!! to last month's winner of the cute little, Love Bug stamp set and thank you for adding my button to your blog tukistryingtoscrap.blogspot.com. I'm so glad to finally find out that it works.
