My Digital Studio Hybrid Layout

I'm not that savvy when it comes to technology, so I know anyone can use My Digital Studio. I had a lot of fun adding a few embellishments to this predesigned layout. I hope you enjoy watching the video.

Visit http://www.lmdstampin.stampinup.net/ for more info on My Digital Studio and other Stampin' Up! products or if you have a demonstrator already contact them.

Diaper Cake for My Daughter

I was going to add a lot more embellishments to this, but I ran out of time. If you recall from my last post, I was getting ready for the baby shower (that we ended up canceling) and the Stampin' Up convention. The baby was born by the time I returned home and I wanted to give all the presents and things I had made for the shower to my daughter. So I took it as is. I think the ribbon made it cute. The picture doesn't really do it justice.  Didn't have time to take more than one picture. The carriage on time was made with my Imagine and the doily was made on the Expression.

Until next time, enjoy the journey : )

It's Been A Very Busy Few Weeks

I wish I had something fun to share with you today, but it's been a very busy few weeks. I was getting ready for convention and planning and creating for a baby shower. Had to cancel the shower due to my daughter have some complications; which actually gave me time to get more card swaps ready for convention.

Anyway, I got back from the Stampin' Up! convention on Friday, went to see my daughter and new grandson on Monday, and today I have been trying to organize my office space. I haven't been able to walk in there for months. You have no idea how excited I was to be able to see the floor again. I still have some organizing to do, but at least I can walk in there now.

I am hoping to have something posted by tonight or tomorrow. So ya'll come back now, you hear : D

Enjoy the journey.

Baby Shower Banner

I have been having so much fun with my Gypsy. I've had it for a while and I've done a few things with it, but I haven't really used it as much as I would like. Thanks to my daughter's baby shower I have been playing with it a lot these past few days. What an awesome tool!!

Actually, I already knew that; I just hadn't used enough to try out its different features. If you don't know what a Gypsy is you can find lots of video tutorials on Youtube, with people who know a lot more than I do.  For now I hope you enjoy today's project.

See cut sizes below video.

Note: Cuts were sized on the gypsy. 1/4" increments are used on the Cricut Create and Expression (I assume the Personal Cricut as well. I do not own it so I can't say for sure).  The Cricut Imagine does not use 2 decimal places. For example it will let you go 6.6", but it will not let you do 6.63". You can, however, use these sizes when the machine is hooked up to the Gypsy. Hope that's not confusing.

Baby Shower Invitations

This isn't one of the best videos I've ever made (none of them are ever perfect), but I posted it anyway. I really enjoyed making these invitations for my oldest daughter's baby shower. I will be posting other projects that I've made for the shower, but if you don't want to wait you can see them on my Youtube channel-Creative Journey with LMD.

I love comments so don't be shy.

Hi my neglected blog followers.

Are you still with me? I hope so. I think about you all the time. I know I need to get better at keeping up with my blog. I am going to try to post more often. If you would like to see more videos than I've posted here you can see them at Creative Journey with LMD on Youtube.

I've also missed visiting many of your blogs and hope to start visiting you again.

Anyway, I'm posting 2 videos today : D  The second one is only about 2 minutes long. I  hope you enjoy them. I would love to hear from you.
